GOOD MUSIC.
REAL PLACES.
Record Store Directory. A PJM community project.
The next great record might be waiting in a shop you haven’t found yet. We built a way to get you there, then added enough reading to keep the obsession going.

CRATE DIGGERS.

For the places where music is still something you can hold.
LESS SEARCHING.
MORE DIGGING.
Start with a state or territory. Find the shops, get your bearings, and make a day of it. The directory puts physical music stores back on your map.
Find your corner.
Browse across the United States, Washington, DC, and U.S. territories. Local pages put the shops in the context of the places they call home.
Get specific.
On the Connecticut directory, search by shop name or filter by town. Scan addresses and contact details without opening a dozen separate searches.
Get out the door.
Open a shop’s website, call, or get directions through Google Maps or Apple Maps. The Connecticut map gives you another way to see what’s nearby.
THE GOOD STUFF IS IN THE BINS.
A website that wants you to leave the house.
Record shops are places to ask a question, hear something unexpected, and come home with an album you didn’t know you needed. Built under Uniting With Music, this project celebrates that physical connection to music and the people keeping it alive.

The directory is free to browse. The discoveries are yours to make.

MUSIC LOUD.
We built the website to help people find the shops. The shops, the collectors, and the conversations do the rest. Pick a place. Find a store. Go see what’s playing.
